Ifo Police Command Gets New DPO



A new Divisional Police Officer (DPO) has assumed duties in Ifo Police Station Command in Ogun State. 

The new DPO is Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Abiodun Ayinde. He took over from CSP Kehinde Kuranga who has been moved to Adamawa State. Ayinde who resumed office on Sunday, July, 10 2022 was met with officers of the police command. 

The new Ifo police boss was formally at Ogere Police Command where he spent over two years as DPO. 

Addressing the Ifo Police Officers after his resumption, he admonished them to work harder in the area of security and protection of lives and property in the community. 

He however warned hoodlums to desist from devilish behavior and those already arrested were transferred to Police Head Office, Eleweran, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital for further interrogation over their misdeeds.

He also charged others to maintain peace in the community. He further appealed to community leaders in Ifo township to support the Police officers on the task ahead.
